A joint project of PEN Canada, BC Civil Liberties Association, Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Canadian Journalists for Free Expression, Censorship Tracker is a crowd-sourced mapping tool that records limitations on the right to free expression. With public input this tool is designed to track instances of censorship across Canada.

For purposes of launching the tool, the organizers admit to a broad definition of censorship…”any incident in which expressive freedoms are limited.”

As of September 2017, the tracker appears to be quite out of date, with the most recent entries dated in the spring of 2015.
